The IDF has released footage of the dramatic moment its F-35I "Adir" took down the Iranian combat jet over Tehran.
Israel said one of its F-35 fighter jets, known as an Adir, had downed another crewed plane over Tehran, the Iranian capital. Iran did not immediately comment.
An F-15 Eagle is an all-weather tactical fighter designed to penetrate enemy defense, according to the Air Force's website.
